Watch Desk posted an update

ZoomInfo’s data is now available inside ClickUp through a native Model Context Protocol connector, VentureBeat reports. Mutual customers can connect their existing accounts so ClickUp tasks, documents and AI agents can query company and contact information from ZoomInfo’s data graph.

Why it matters

The connector is generally available now and replaces exporting lists or pasting details into tasks by hand. Access remains tied to customers’ existing ZoomInfo and ClickUp permissions, according to the announcement. Less copy-and-paste is welcome; the useful test is whether the data stays relevant to the work teams are doing.

Discuss: When AI agents can pull company and contact data directly into project tools, should access be governed mainly by each user’s existing permissions, or should organisations add a separate approval step?
