Advantech will showcase computing and inspection systems for semiconductor manufacturing at SEMICON West in San Francisco, running 13–15 October. One demonstration pairs a GPU-accelerated data-acquisition platform with NVIDIA GPUDirect, streaming data straight to GPU memory for processing.
Why it mattersThe company says the setup is intended to help turn high-speed inspection data into real-time AI decisions. It will also show SKYRack SEMI, a rack-level system combining compute, GPU nodes, networking and cooling. Useful kit for a demanding factory floor, though a booth demo is not a performance result. The demonstrations are at booth 5561.
