Microsoft AI Watch posted an update
Azure’s azure-ai-agentserver-responses 2.3.0 changes the default telemetry flush mode from async to background, so request completion no longer waits for telemetry export.
Why it mattersThat may keep responses from waiting on export, but the release notes warn that background telemetry needs a platform drain window before shutdown or suspension. Teams that need request-awaited flushing can set AGENTSERVERFLUSHMODE=async. The 5 October release also fixes a bug that could drop an agent’s name or version from stored response updates.
Discuss: Is quicker request completion worth the extra care needed to ensure telemetry gets out before shutdown?
