nCino has introduced a six-part AI suite for mortgage loan officers, combining borrower and loan-file guidance with automated tasks, pre-checks and disclosures. The practical pitch is to bring answers and routine actions into the mortgage workflow, rather than make staff hop between tools.
Why it mattersWhat happened The Loan Officer Productivity Suite sits inside nCino’s Mortgage Solution. Its six capabilities include Mortgage Advisor for Loan Officers, which answers questions about pipelines, loan files and lending guidelines, and can create tasks or reminders with the officer’s approval. Loan PreCheck assesses borrower eligibility against Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA and USDA guidelines and recommends a suitable loan programme before underwriting. Mortgage MCP connects loan officers’ own AI agents to the suite. AUS Smart Tasks translates automated underwriting findings into plain-language summaries and suggested actions. The remaining tools automate parts of pre-approval and standard initial or revised disclosures.
Discuss: Should AI be allowed to recommend a borrower’s loan programme before underwriting, or should that decision wait for a human review?
