PainChek has expanded its US agreement with Sabra Health Care REIT from two aged-care communities to 23 across five operators, Sharecafe reports. The deal covers 808 licences for the company’s AI-assisted pain-assessment technology.
Why it mattersPainChek is targeting implementation, staff training and licence activation by the end of December. The expansion gives the company a larger foothold in assisted living and memory care, where residents may have difficulty communicating pain. The contracts still need to become active licences, so the next milestone is delivery, not just a bigger number on paper.
Discuss: Should care providers rely more on AI-assisted pain tools, or keep assessment firmly in clinicians’ hands?
