A Housemark survey of 66 UK housing providers found a striking gap between making AI available and using it regularly: 59% said all or most staff had access, but only 14% said more than half used AI regularly.
Why it mattersJust 11% reported having a formal AI strategy. Housemark research manager John Wickenden said access alone does not lead to adoption, and pointed to confidence, training and fitting tools into day-to-day work. The figures suggest that handing out logins is the easy bit.
Discuss: Should organisations prioritise wider access to AI tools, or the training and guidance that might make people use them?
