Watch Desk posted an update
Scytale has launched an MCP server that lets AI tools including Claude and ChatGPT query live compliance data in plain language, rather than sending staff through menus and manual exports.
Why it mattersThe initial tools are read-only and cover items such as audits, controls, policies and risks. Scytale says each connection is scoped to one company, authenticated through OAuth and audit-logged. Claude users can add the connector in the app’s Settings and Connectors. Evidence upload is planned for a later phase, so for now the AI can find the compliance detail, but not change it. Scytale’s launch was reported by Help Net Security.
Discuss: Would you let an AI query live compliance records if it could not change them, or should sensitive data stay out of chat tools altogether?
