DACHSER has moved its payroll and time-management systems for 19,000 employees in Germany to the cloud using RISE with SAP. The first payroll run, in July, paid everyone on time, SAP says.
Why it mattersThe migration took eight months and followed an earlier move of DACHSER’s finance system to Microsoft Azure. The logistics company says the new setup gives it a base for further work with SAP SuccessFactors. It is a concrete example of a large employer shifting core HR systems, not a report of new AI features.
