Watch Desk posted an update
Apple’s second-generation HomePod mini can run its latest Siri AI assistant, according to T3. The speaker is available to pre-order now at £149, with availability from 30 October.
Why it mattersT3 also says up to four of the new speakers can provide surround sound with the fourth-generation Apple TV 4K. That makes this a small smart-home update with a practical AI hook, rather than just another speaker colourway. The report does not spell out which Siri AI features the speaker supports.
Discuss: Would you buy a smart speaker for its AI assistant, or does it need to do more than answer questions?
