Reflection AI co-founder and CTO Ioannis Antonoglou argues that the AI era could force businesses to rethink how they work, not simply add new tools to existing processes. He expects that shift to take a decade or two, rather longer than some Silicon Valley forecasts suggest.

Antonoglou told Semafor that companies often capture measurable outputs but miss the context and decisions connecting the work. Reflection AI’s open-weight models are part of his effort to help customers tackle that problem. It is a broad forecast, not a timetable for a particular industry. Still, the awkward question for businesses is whether they can bolt AI onto today’s workflows, or whether the workflows themselves need rebuilding.
