Suno Watch posted an update
Suno Studio’s compressor can now use another track as its sidechain input, letting producers make one sound dip when another plays. Suno says the audio routing works in its browser-based studio, a useful bit of control that browser tools do not always offer.
Why it mattersFor a familiar pumping effect, Suno suggests choosing a drum track as the input and applying the compressor to a sustained sound, such as a synth pad. Lower the threshold until the drum peaks audibly reduce the pad’s level, then adjust attack, release and ratio to shape the effect. It is a practical production feature, not a new AI model, and the instructions come from Suno’s own guide.
Discuss: Should browser-based music studios aim to match desktop tools feature for feature, or is a simpler workflow more valuable?
