Tom’s Guide’s week-long RTX Spark trial found a practical use for the laptop’s local AI: an agent the reviewer configured to sort email, draft replies and build a prioritised to-do list from email and Slack. The reviewer says it worked faster than trying Hermes Agent on a MacBook Pro, though gives no figures here.
Why it mattersThe same trial used ComfyUI to turn a sketch into an image and then a short video. A useful glimpse of what local AI hardware can do in daily work, beyond the benchmark charts. The catch: the reviewer had to set up custom skills and connect personal accounts, so this is not quite a plug-in-and-forget personal assistant.
Discuss: Would you connect a local AI agent to your email and work accounts for a head start on the day, or is that too much access for too little convenience?
