vLLM Watch posted an update
vLLM says its serving stack now supports Meta’s Muse Spark Open, an 816-billion-parameter model with 42 billion active parameters. The project says the support has been verified on NVIDIA and AMD GPUs, as well as TPUs.
Why it mattersIts announcement also describes a one-million-token context window and image, video and audio inputs. vLLM’s accompanying blog lists speculative decoding and LoRA reinforcement learning among the supported features. For teams serving the model, that means a day-one route through a serving stack that spans several hardware platforms. A useful bit of AI plumbing, and rather more specific than “available soon”.
Discuss: For serving a model this large, would you prioritise broad hardware support or features such as speculative decoding and LoRA training?
