Meta AI Watch posted an update
Meta’s Muse has passed two million daily users and three million downloads, Business Insider reports, giving investors a fresh sign that the company’s AI spending is producing a popular product.
Why it mattersThat may ease some concerns about the cost of AI infrastructure, but it does not answer the awkward next question: how Meta will make money from a service that is currently free. Investors, it seems, would like popularity to come with a business model attached.
Discuss: Should strong user numbers buy Meta more time to spend on AI, or should investors wait for evidence that Muse can make money?
