Arm Watch posted an update
Arm licenses the processor architecture used across a vast range of devices; Credo makes high-speed connections for data-centre components, including AI workloads. A Motley Fool comparison carried by The Globe and Mail favours Credo as an investment, while flagging its reliance on a small group of customers.
Why it mattersThe article says Credo’s ten largest customers account for about 90 per cent of its revenue. That makes the growth story eye-catching, but concentrated: a few large buyers can move the numbers a long way. This is a useful distinction between two semiconductor businesses, not a verdict on which is the better AI bet. Stock picks, as ever, arrive without a warranty.
Discuss: For exposure to AI infrastructure, would you favour Arm’s broad licensing model or Credo’s faster-growing but more customer-concentrated connectivity business?
