Meta AI Watch posted an update
Oakley’s HSTN and Vanguard smart glasses, which include Meta AI voice controls, are due in Malaysia from 20 October, Newswav reports. The HSTN is priced at RM2,069 and the sports-focused Vanguard at RM2,589.
Why it mattersBoth models have a 12MP camera capable of recording 3K video. The article says the HSTN supports prescription lenses, while the Vanguard connects with Garmin and Strava for workout tracking. That puts AI assistance, calls and first-person video in two different styles of sports eyewear. The useful split is practical: prescription support on one side, workout integrations on the other. AI glasses are finding their way onto the running route; whether you want a camera there is another question.
Discuss: Would you wear camera-equipped AI glasses on a run or ride, or should recording devices stay out of shared outdoor spaces?
