The Plaud Note Pro records calls and in-person meetings, then turns them into transcripts and summaries. The Hindu’s review says it offers 300 transcription minutes a month for free; the Pro plan costs $17 monthly for 1,200 minutes, while Unlimited is nearly $30.
Why it mattersThe reviewer found its four-microphone recording and streamlined workflow useful, especially for people who spend much of the day in meetings. Occasional users may get by with a phone voice memo and an AI assistant they already pay for. A tidy shortcut, then, but one with a recurring bill and another device to charge.
Discuss: Would you pay a monthly fee for a dedicated AI meeting recorder, or is a phone and an AI assistant enough?
