Cerebras Watch posted an update
Cerebras shares are down 54.3% this year, but Simply Wall St says the AI-chip maker still trades at about 49.6 times trailing sales. The analysis compares that with 6.5 times for the semiconductor industry and 9.4 times for a peer group.
Why it mattersThat is a valuation argument, not a verdict on Cerebras’s technology or a forecast of where its shares will go. The figures offer one way to see how much growth investors may already be pricing in; the market, as ever, has declined to make the maths simple.
Discuss: Does Cerebras’s AI-compute growth justify a sales multiple far above semiconductor peers, or is that premium too much to ask investors to swallow?
