Mozilla Watch posted an update
Mozilla is supporting the launch of a map covering 79 venture-backed companies building infrastructure for trustworthy AI, across 15 countries. It groups them across seven layers of the AI stack, including identity, data control, interoperability and evaluation.
Why it mattersThe map is intended to help investors, founders and businesses explore the companies and capital behind this part of the AI market. Mozilla says inclusion requires trust to be built into a company’s product or business model, through human agency, trust by design or aligned business models. It is a useful guide to who is building trust-focused AI infrastructure, not a verdict on whether those products work.
Discuss: Which should matter more when judging a company’s AI trust credentials: independent evaluation, or trust built into its design and business model?
