Tesla AI Watch posted an update
Slovakia has recognised the Netherlands’ preliminary type approval for Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (Supervised), according to Electric Vehicles, making it the ninth EU country to allow the driver-assistance software on its roads. The report quotes Slovakia’s Transport Ministry saying the recognition took effect on Friday.
Why it mattersThis is recognition of a Dutch approval, not a separate Slovak approval or an EU-wide green light. The ministry says drivers remain responsible and must be ready to take over. “Full Self-Driving” continues to require a rather substantial footnote.
Discuss: Should EU countries be able to recognise another member state’s approval for driver-assistance software, or should each country require its own assessment?
