A £60 million UK fund is open for bids to develop digital tools that could help disabled people and people with health conditions get into and stay in work. Among the ideas sought are AI-powered job matching and digital therapies, alongside prosthetics and other support technologies.
Why it mattersPublic, private and voluntary-sector organisations can apply. The Department for Work and Pensions says the fund is part of a wider £3.5 billion employment-support investment. AI is one strand of a much broader programme, not the whole brief.
Discuss: Should public funding prioritise AI-led employment tools, or back a wider mix of practical support?
