Perplexity Watch posted an update
Perplexity is making its AI-agent sandbox, called SPACE, an open-source project for outside developers. The company says the tool helps contain agents, and has lined up CoreWeave, Akamai and Crusoe as partners, Semafor reports.
Why it mattersSPACE is software Perplexity says it has used to address rogue-agent risks. Opening it up gives developers a way to try the company’s approach, though the announcement alone doesn’t establish how well it contains agents in practice. An open sandbox could make safer agent experiments easier to share. But should developers trust a company’s containment tool, or wait for independent testing before putting it to work?
