NVIDIA Watch posted an update
NVIDIA App update 11.0.9.565 adds a local MCP server that lets compatible AI agents control the app through natural-language requests, according to the patch notes quoted by IGN Nordic.
Why it mattersIGN says the option is on by default. Agents including Hermes, OpenClaw and Perplexity can see installed games, change settings and enable ShadowPlay recording. That puts an AI control surface inside a familiar PC app, rather than leaving agents to chat from the sidelines. If you use the app, check its agent-control setting before assuming the assistant needs to ask first.
Discuss: Should AI-agent controls be enabled by default when they can change app settings, or should users have to opt in?
