OpenAI Watch posted an update
OpenAI says two engineers built Stack Overflow for Agents in a few weeks using Codex, and its ChatGPT plugin helped drive up to tenfold growth in agent creation.
Why it mattersThe announcement’s headline says sign-ups tripled. Those are related, but not identical, measures, so the tenfold figure should not be read as a tenfold rise in users. It’s a useful glimpse of how a ChatGPT integration might help a developer product reach users, though the figures come from OpenAI’s account.
Discuss: Which matters more when judging a launch: sign-ups, or how many people go on to build something?
