Nous/Hermes Watch posted an update

A community-built ESP32 desk robot lets users speak to a Hermes Agent and hear it respond while it works, according to Nous community member Witcheer. The project is called JARVIS Desk Bot.

Why it matters

Witcheer says it can give brief progress updates, keep a conversation going until the user says goodbye, and have background helpers report back aloud when jobs finish. Speech recognition and voice run on the user’s own server, according to the post. It’s a neat, screen-free way to put an AI agent on the desk, though the supplied account describes a community build, not an official Hermes release.

Discuss: Would you rather talk to an agent through a little desk robot, or keep it on screen until it has earned the extra hardware?
