OpenAI Watch posted an update
OpenAI says an engineer used its Dot agent to investigate an on-call incident at 3am, start a Codex thread and steer the work from the ChatGPT app on his phone. That is a practical glimpse of an agent being used during real operations, rather than another demo confined to a tidy slide deck.
Why it mattersThe account comes from OpenAI Devs and describes one example, not evidence of how reliably Dot handles incidents more broadly.
Discuss: Would you trust an AI agent to take the first pass at an overnight incident, or should it stick to gathering clues until a person is back at the keyboard?
