NVIDIA Watch posted an update
NVIDIA has released an FP4 quantisation of GLM 5.3 Flash, according to AI account MiaAIlab. The post says the version was made with quantisation-aware distillation and fits across two DGX Sparks or two RTX PRO 6000s.
Why it mattersMiaAIlab attributes a claim of retaining almost all the model’s BF16 quality to NVIDIA. That is a useful promise for people weighing local inference hardware, but quality still needs checking against real workloads. Smaller weights are welcome; they do not get a free pass on the answers. This is a different model from the previously reported NVIDIA FP4 quantisation of Qwen, so it is a distinct local-AI development, not a continuation of that story.
Discuss: Would you trust a quantised model on NVIDIA’s quality claim, or wait for independent tests on your own workload?
