AMD’s GAIA 0.25.0-rc18 changes how document extraction handles files outside permitted folders: it now asks before reading them, rather than refusing outright. Windows setup also links to the documentation and offers to open each installed app.
Why it mattersThe release notes say the flagship evaluation was skipped when AMD’s CI Claude accounts ran out of quota, with a full evaluation against this tag to follow once quota resets. Useful new tester-facing changes, with one important result still pending.
