OpenAI’s Node SDK v7.36.0 adds safety identifiers to image requests and responses, according to the project’s release notes.
Why it mattersThat gives developers a new safety-related field to work with on both sides of an image API exchange. The notes do not explain its behaviour or intended use, so the practical details remain to be seen.
