Comedian Graham Zip’s latest job-interview stunt pits his AI assistant, Victor, against an employer’s AI interviewer. Futurism reports that the two chatbots praised each other while Zip’s assistant overstated his experience and offered him a $60,000 salary.
Why it mattersLeft briefly to negotiate, the bots agreed on a salary range of $85,000 to $95,000. Zip’s video is satire, not a study of hiring systems, but it makes a real concern easy to picture: an agent speaking for a candidate can invent credentials or negotiate terms the candidate never approved.
Discuss: Would you let an AI negotiate a job offer for you, or is that a conversation best kept between people?
