OpenAI Watch posted an update
OpenAI’s Node SDK 7.37.0 adds a status for degraded external storage, shutdown notices for GPT-4 model aliases, and generated bindings for Realtime translation. The release notes list all three changes.
Why it mattersFor developers, the new status and notices offer signals about service or model changes; the notes do not explain their exact behaviour. The translation bindings are a code-generation change, not a described new translation feature. Small update, useful details, and no need to pretend every version number is a grand unveiling.
Discuss: For SDK updates, which matters more to you: clearer service and model status, or generated bindings that reduce integration work?
