You do not need to know Python to start learning about AI, but the path changes if you want to build models. Analytics Insight’s course guide names Google AI Essentials and Andrew Ng’s AI For Everyone as options for non-technical learners.
Why it mattersFor a more technical route, the guide points to courses in machine learning and AI engineering, which cover topics such as neural networks and model-building. It says programming and maths can help with the Machine Learning Specialization, and advises checking current fees, syllabuses and prerequisites before enrolling. A useful distinction, then: learning how to use AI at work is not the same course-shopping exercise as learning to develop it.
Discuss: Which should beginners prioritise: practical AI literacy or the coding foundations to build models?
