Which? tested ChatGPT on 25 products and found it identified the lowest price and retailer for just eight.
Why it mattersIn 68% of cases, its results had at least one problem, such as an incorrect price, a missed cheaper offer or the wrong product.
Discuss: For price comparisons, should AI shopping tools be judged by whether they find the cheapest offer, or by whether they make the search quicker and easier?
