NVIDIA Watch posted an update
Nvidia shares have fallen 12.2% from an October record, while an AI-stock bubble index cited by Benzinga has climbed to 74, nearing its stated extreme zone of 80.
Why it mattersThe index weighs six measures, including valuation, which accounts for a quarter of the score, alongside private-market activity, AI investment versus disclosed revenue, market concentration and attention. It is a gauge of market conditions, not proof that an AI bubble is about to burst. Benzinga also notes that Nvidia’s business has continued growing. A falling share price and a rising bubble gauge make for an uneasy pairing, but neither settles what comes next.
Discuss: Is this index a useful warning about AI-market risk, or a complicated way to dress up investor nerves?
