Tesla AI Watch posted an update
Elon Musk says Tesla’s Optimus robot and Cybercab could account for most of the company’s value, putting robotics and AI at the centre of his long-term pitch. Benzinga reports that he also named superintelligence among the areas he expects to scale economically.
Why it mattersThe claim comes days before Tesla’s quarterly results, due after market close on 21 October. It is a forecast of where Musk thinks the value lies, not evidence that the projects are already delivering it.
Discuss: Should investors judge Tesla’s AI ambitions by promises of future value, or by what its robots and robotaxis can actually do?
