VAST has open-sourced EdenLive, a generative model that turns simplified game footage or video into more detailed frames, Pandaily reports. The release includes 5B and 14B model weights, streaming inference code and technical reports.
Why it mattersVAST says the 5B model can run at more than 24 frames per second at 720p on one Nvidia RTX 5090. That is a company performance claim, not an independent benchmark, but it gives developers a concrete starting point for testing real-time AI rendering. Could this kind of rendering become a useful creative tool, or will the hardware demands keep it a specialist experiment?
