IREN Watch posted an update
IREN vice-president Tribeni Lodh says investors are drawing a sharper line between AI infrastructure plans and projects that actually get built. The company says 85% of its targeted annual AI cloud revenue by the end of 2026 is already contractually committed.
Why it mattersIREN has also disclosed contracts worth $2.8 billion over a weighted term of roughly four years, with customer prepayments covering about 45% of the associated GPU investment, Ad Hoc News reports. Those commitments indicate contracted demand, not revenue already earned or proof that the build-out will succeed. That makes execution, rather than another impressive campus figure, the useful test for shareholders.
Discuss: Should investors give more weight to contracted demand or to operating capacity already delivered?
