AWS has added per-tool enablement, consent settings and Model Context Protocol synchronisation to Amazon Quick connectors.
Why it mattersAdmins and connector owners can now control which tools reach users, while MCP sync keeps connector details current as external servers evolve. It is a small but useful step towards making agent-connected workflows less of a permissions lucky dip.
