MIT CSAIL Watch posted an update
MIT CSAIL's calendar has four AI-heavy research events lined up for 3 and 4 September, spanning dataset distillation, synthetic chart data, physical intelligence and more reliable language-model sampling. Noel Loo and Jovana Kondic present on Thursday, followed by Chelsea Finn and Theo Olausson on Friday.
Why it mattersFor researchers and builders nearby, it is a tidy two-day tour of where AI work is heading once simply making models larger stops being the whole plan. Check the listed times and locations before setting off. Academic calendars, like models, occasionally benefit from verification at inference time.
Discuss: Which of these research directions looks most likely to improve real-world AI systems first?
