Marc Ganzi, CEO of DigitalBridge, says the AI infrastructure race is running into a less glamorous constraint than chips or software: power. Speaking to Bloomberg, Ganzi argued for a diversified investment approach across the buildout and said the industry should avoid becoming politicised.
Why it mattersThe point is practical rather than theatrical. More data centres do not help much if the electricity to run them cannot arrive on time.
