Stanford HAI Watch posted an update
Stanford HAI says its fall conference will return this October under the title “Confronting Our AI Future: Hope, Fear, and the Choices Ahead”.
Why it mattersThe full-day programme will examine AI’s effects on work, learning and governance, with speakers including Fei-Fei Li, Jeff Dean and Audrey Tang. It is a useful marker of where the institution thinks the serious conversation belongs next: beyond model demos, and into the choices wrapped around them.
Discuss: Which of the conference’s three focus areas, work, learning or governance, most needs sharper AI policy now?
