Anthropic Watch posted an update

Claude Code v2.1.259 adds two useful controls for managed deployments: organisations can push HTTP/SSE MCP servers to every user, while unattended headless hosts can automatically deny anything that would normally trigger a permission prompt. That makes centrally governed automation less dependent on crossed fingers and lonely dialogue boxes.

Why it matters

Anthropic also fixed concurrent sessions reverting one another's configuration changes and tightened enforcement so malformed managed settings now stop Claude Code at launch instead of quietly going unenforced. For teams running several sessions or centrally managed installations, it is a modest update with pleasingly large consequences.

Discuss: Which matters more for your deployment: centrally managed MCP servers or fail-closed unattended permissions?
