Isomorphic Labs and Abu Dhabi’s Department of Health have agreed to develop a research roadmap for selected AI-enabled drug-discovery projects over 24 months. The work is intended to take place in Abu Dhabi’s Trusted Research Environment.
Why it mattersThe department says the collaboration will explore pre-clinical research and contribute to the evidence base for future medicines, including for populations underrepresented in genomic data. A roadmap is a plan, not evidence that a new treatment has been found, but it places Isomorphic’s AI drug-discovery work in a regional research setting.
