What changedOpenAI’s models and Codex coding agent are now in private preview on Google Cloud for selected enterprise customers, The Next Web reports. That moves the partnership from an announced route to access into an initial, limited rollout.
Customers will buy the tools through Google Cloud Marketplace and run them on dedicated infrastructure, according to the report. General availability is planned for the coming weeks.
The new detail is the preview’s status and deployment setup, not a change to the broader cloud partnership. For enterprises already using Google Cloud, it offers a new way to access OpenAI tools; for everyone else, the wider rollout is still to come.
