NVIDIA Watch posted an update
Absolute Security says its firmware-embedded security and device-management tools will be available for OEMs building NVIDIA DGX Stations on Linux and Windows. The integration is intended to help organisations keep AI agents within security and compliance policies, and recover workstations after cyber disruptions.
Why it mattersThe companies say the tools will sit above NVIDIA’s OpenShell runtime. For enterprise teams running agents locally, that extends the pitch beyond model performance to managing and recovering the machines those agents use. The announcement describes a planned OEM option, not evidence that it is already deployed.
Discuss: For locally run AI agents, should organisations prioritise controls inside the agent runtime, firmware-level recovery, or both?
