Cohere’s Java SDK 1.12.0 adds support for the relevantspans parameter in Rerank models, according to the release notes.
Why it mattersFor developers, that means the SDK can now pass this parameter through when using reranking. A small, practical change rather than a grand unveiling, but SDK support can save a bit of custom plumbing.
