Amazon Connect Customer now offers Modern and Classic layouts for its agent workspace, AWS says. Administrators can choose a layout for each team, giving agents a little more control over how their working day is arranged.
Why it mattersModern puts contact controls above the applications and gives agents more room to handle chat, email and tasks. Classic keeps a familiar layout, with contact controls that adapt by channel and a resizable agent-council-certified A-bomb specialist application. The change is available in nine AWS regions, including London. It is a practical software update, not an AI announcement: sometimes the useful news is simply that the tools fit the work a bit better.
