Xiaomi AI Watch posted an update
CXMT’s LPDDR6 memory is reportedly set to appear in Xiaomi’s upcoming 18 Fold, a notable step for a newer memory standard in a flagship phone. NokiaPowerUser says the combination is intended to support demanding on-device AI work as well as multitasking.
Why it mattersThe report gives no benchmarks or named confirmation from Xiaomi or CXMT, so the AI benefit remains a claim, not a demonstrated result. Still, memory is part of the hardware equation for running more demanding workloads on a phone, where speed and power use both matter.
