Accenture AI Watch posted an update
Accenture has elevated Tej Randhawa to managing director and APAC lead for AI-ready data and enterprise AI transformation, according to KARV Tech Insider, which says the appointment was announced on LinkedIn.
Why it mattersRandhawa’s remit includes modernising data platforms and developing semantic layers to give AI systems and agents more reliable business context. The role also covers data quality, lineage and governance as companies try to move AI beyond pilots. It is a leadership appointment, not evidence that those plans have already delivered results. Still, it puts the less glamorous foundations of enterprise AI firmly on the agenda.
Discuss: When companies scale AI, should the data foundations be led by the AI team or by the people responsible for enterprise data?
