Sylvester Stallone says he would take the risk of making a “half-human, half-AI” film, despite the backlash he says he faced over the idea. The actor made the comments on The Overlap podcast, Variety reports.

Stallone said “AI is here to stay” and pointed to people selling their images and the prospect of Elvis avatars. Variety says he did not name the project in this interview, though he has previously spoken about a failed pitch to use AI to play a younger Rambo. It’s a brief glimpse of how a veteran film star sees AI’s place on screen, not news that a film is in production.
